Understanding Cancer through Gaming
Cancer has touched the students at NEMS first-hand in that one of our well-known students' is in the toughest battle of her life. In an effort to understand what she's going through students can engage in research to learn how cancer affects the body. Re-Mission the game is the first step toward engagement understanding and learning. Watch this video to see how James Paul Gee's learning principles promote education while involving students in a a valuable lesson.
